The Power of Self-Worth

As the world changes there are so many new ways of doing things for a Woman.

We can now make choices for ourselves, and to define success in meaningful ways there is no longer just one option. We can choose to be a corporate mogul, stay at home mom or a stay at home mom and work.

Women no longer have to choose family or work.

There is no WRONG way.

Women who are now learning to balance their responsibilities are opening up future doors to self-reliance and are able to contribute financially to the family and their communities. Through a willingness to be vulnerable, women bring strength, love, and nurturance to the world.

As a result, Women are rising up with more confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth.

I for one am excited to be a part of this journey. But it takes a lot of courage to step out and do things differently and there are many challenges along the way to learning how to balance everything.

This is why developing a daily Self-Worth practice will ensure success and make everyday life easier.

Three Self- Worth/ Self-Love Practices

Expressing Gratitude

~ As soon as you open your eyes in the morning think of three things you are grateful for. I know it’s easy to just jump out of bed and rush to the baby, coffee machine or whatever is calling your attention but taking just 10 seconds to breathe and then say three things out loud that you are grateful for will change the course of the morning.  Expressing gratitude calms the mind, uplifts your mood and creates clarity, So give it a try!

Affirmations

~ Take 5 minutes to write out affirmations. The most powerful thing I did to change my life was by writing “I love and accept myself exactly the way I am”.  At first, it seemed silly but after a while, it felt good and that little voice inside that likes to tell me I am not good enough started to quiet.  Some of my favorite affirmations are –

  • I wake up energized and excited
  • I am worth love
  • I now accept all good
  • I believe in myself and my ability to succeed

Visualization

~Visualizing what you want and how you want to feel. By visualizing or imagining yourself having and doing what you are working for speeds up the creation process. Feel, see, taste and hear whatever it is you are desiring. Then notice other people’s reactions to you. In your mind’s eye make their reactions okay no matter what. Neutralize any negativity and only allow for good feelings and your success.
